
Margaret Apalabuno Atugumyuure is a driven and impactful professional, adept at integrating corporate expertise with a profound dedication to community development and empowering underserved populations.
She joined Myhelp-Yourhelp Foundation in 2019. Margaret has played an integral role in the organization’s mission. In 2020, she became an executive member while playing the role of an editor and content writer. She was later made the Assistant Secretary of the foundation. A role she played so well to warrant an elevation to her current role as the General Secretary.
Her life journey, marked by reliance on scholarships and the generosity of others throughout her educational ladder, fuels her dedication to “giving back”. She believes in multiplying the impact of the support she received by extending similar opportunities to those who might otherwise never access them.
Her commitment to social impact is long-standing, evident in her previous roles as a volunteer and facilitator at the She Can Mentorship Project.
In this capacity, she effectively mobilized the association to undertake projects that benefited marginalized groups, including teenage mothers, girls in basic and high schools, market women, and the wider community.
Margaret works as a Pension Claims Administrator at General Trust Company Ltd, a prominent corporate trustee and pension fund administrator in Ghana.
Margaret holds an MBA in Business Administration: Entrepreneurship and International Business from Chandigarh University, India, and a BSc. Business Administration from Ashesi University, Ghana.
